The Height Stand App will greatly reduce inspection time and mathematical errors! The Height Stand APP is an iphone application designed to help machinist or inspectors reduce mathematical errors and speed up inspection time. I was constantly checking hole locations with a height stand and it was very time consuming to calculate center lines to match the print call out. So I decided to develop an app that would do all of the calculations fast and easy. The Height Stand App features a graphical interface so telling the app what you measured is easy. Simply touch what type of feature you measured on the screen and enter the measurement. The app will calculate where the center line of the diameter is relative feature. The Height Stand App has the ability to calculate the centerline distance between two different diameters, two of the same size diameters, a diameter to a surface, or a surface to surface distance. You can also tell the app weather you are measuring the bottom of a diameter or the top via gauge pin.
Requires iOS 5.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
